Nineteen VCV Rack 2 modules for massed tone, harmonic density, microtonal beating and feedback structures. Massed oscillators, a modal string sequencer, an insect sample engine, and a clock that sags under load.
It is the open-source research line. The DSP that ends up in the commercial instruments gets worked out here first, in public, under MIT.
Five instruments extend the Branca research into performance-ready tools. They are at 0.9.1 — complete and tested, not yet through a full listening pass — and are half price while that is true. Buying now includes every later version at no extra cost.
