You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your message before the period expires.
You will be reimbursed all payments received from you, without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day we are informed of your decision. The refund is made using the same means of payment you used, and you will not be charged any fee for it.
You are asked to stop using the software and delete your licence key. That request is made on trust: the key will keep working, because activation is offline and there is nothing to revoke. That is stated plainly rather than implied to be a technical control.
EU and UK law normally lets a seller start delivering digital content immediately only if the buyer agrees to it and acknowledges losing the right to cancel. You are not asked to give that up. The 14 days are granted as a contractual term regardless of when your key arrives, so accepting immediate delivery costs you nothing.
Two different windows, because they are two different things to buy.
Your statutory rights come first, and the longer window wins. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK you have a statutory right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days. There is no pre-release exemption from it, nothing on this page shortens it, and where it applies you have the 14 days rather than the 24 hours. The 24-hour window is the policy offered to everyone — it is what governs a purchase made where no statutory right exists.
Beyond whichever window applies to you, there is no automatic right to a refund for digital content and none is claimed here. You can still ask: if a pre-release update changes or removes something you specifically bought the plug-in for, write and say so and it will be dealt with case by case. That is a goodwill undertaking rather than a contractual right, and it is described that way so nobody relies on something they have not been given.

Donations to the project are gifts, not purchases, and are not refundable as of right — but if you gave by mistake, say so and it will be returned.
