Nineteen VCV Rack 2 modules for massed tone, harmonic density, microtonal beating and feedback structures. Free, MIT-licensed, and buildable from source on any platform.
Named for the massed-guitar tradition — many voices, tuned against each other, played as one instrument. The modules share a design language: CV and an attenuverter on every knob, V/OCT pass-through everywhere, and gestures that operate on a whole mass rather than one voice at a time.
Before you download: the Windows build is about 248 MB. Nearly all of that is Swarm Core's insect sample bank, which ships inside the plugin so the module works without a separate download. macOS and Linux users build from source — see Building from Source.
Once installed, the plugin folder must be named amplified-futures. A mismatched name means the modules never appear, with no error shown. Full steps: Installation.
Add Street Grid Clock to drive it all, Drift to move a parameter you would otherwise have to hold, and Collapse Saturator at the end for edge.
